Making the decision to say goodbye to your pet is a difficult one. We offer consultations that will answer any questions you may have so that you can make an informed decision.
It’s heartbreaking to have to say goodbye to our loved ones, including our furry family friends. There does come a time however, when all treatment options have been exhausted, to make the decision to let our pets pass peacefully and end their suffering.
Our sympathetic veterinarians help animals who have a terminal illness or who have been determined to have a poor quality of life, undergo the process of dying with dignity. We do everything we can to improve your pet’s quality of life and make your pet comfortable and pain free, while giving you time to say goodbye to your faithful friend. When the time comes, our doctors have chosen medications that are painless and will allow your pet to fall into a peaceful and permanent sleep.
Animal Health Care Center also offers provisions for your pet’s remains. We work with Agape Pet Services to provide cremation services to clients. There are several packages as well as individual items to choose from. Packages vary in scope, but all are beautifully done in honor of the beloved family member. There is a link provided below to view options available to clients prior to the appointment. This allows clients the choice to pick out a package ahead of time, if they so wish, to reduce the need to focus on such details when the time comes to say goodbye. Clients will also find a "loss support" section that also includes a special section for children.
